TWIN PEAKS

Twin Peaks is a new studio that sits within an existing residential garden. Designed for an artist and an avid mountain climber, the studio plays with the duality of calm gallery spaces and rugged landscapes. Although intimate in scale, it offers external robustness through a series of operable shutters and internal grandeur achieved through sculptured heights and skylights. Orientated to bookend the garden with the existing dwelling, it also activates the rear laneway as a sculptured fence.
