MORETON ISLAND HOUSE
The architectural design and construction planning of the building were meticulously undertaken in collaboration with the client and owner-builder, considering the necessity of access via boat. The structure is divided into two distinct functional spaces interconnected by an outdoor area. The larger section accommodates the garage, storage, and workshop facilities, with sleeping quarters for nine individuals situated above. Meanwhile, the smaller section houses the kitchen, lounge, and dining area. Notably, the building operates independently from utility services, generating its own electricity stored in batteries and harvesting rainwater for consumption.
